The college offers three-year Honours and General courses in B.A. and B.Sc. streams. Along with B.A. / B.Sc. course, a student, as add on career oriented course, may take up UGC approved Certificate (in 1st Year) / Diploma (in 2nd year) /Advanced Diploma (in 3rd year)
Course in Travel & Tourism Management (TTM), and Computer Application. 2nd year / 3rd year students, if they so desire, may take up certificate course in any of the carrer oriented programmes along with the students of 1st year.

Along with Honours and two general subjects in Honours Course or three general subjects in General Course, the students have to study on a compulsory paper in each year. In Part I, students have to learn Environmental Studies. In Part II, students’ have to study Compulsory English and in Part III, students have to learn one of the Major Indian Languages (MIL): (Bengali - taught in college) or (Hindi / Nepali / Urdu — non-taught in college).
NB: Seats are reserved for SC, OBC-A, OBC-B, ST and Differently Abled (Physically challenged) Candidates both of Hons. and General Course as per Govt. Rules in this regard.
