1. Annual System is followed as prescribed by the affiliating North Bengal University upto the session 2016-17.
2. From the academic session 2017-18 CBCS will be followed as prescribed by the UGC and Affiliating University.

The Department has provided all possible infrastructures facilities, best available faculty and sacred academic atmosphere. The department of Education has offered qualitative education to all students and to achieve excellence in teaching A number of students of this Department came out successful in such and other different competitive examinations. The Department envisions to provide holistic ideas to the students regarding the recent trends in education..

Objectives of the UG Program:

● To foster the holistic development of the learners by imparting them updated knowledge and proficiency so that academic excellence can be attained.
● To make them theoretically sound regarding the recent trends of knowledge domain in education as well as the means to ensure sustainable development.
● To create condition to enable the learner to apply the theoretically acquired knowledge into practical life-centric situation and enhance community engagement through practicing social skills, humanism and tolerance.
